Ingredients
- 1 pound Beef ribeye, thinly sliced
- 0.25 cup Soy sauce
- 2 tablespoons Brown sugar
- 0.5 cup Asian pear, grated
- 1 tablespoon Toasted sesame oil
- 3 cloves Garlic, minced
- 1 teaspoon Ginger, grated
- 2 stalks Green onions, chopped
- 0.25 teaspoon Black pepper
- 1 teaspoon Toasted sesame seeds(optional)

Whisk together the soy sauce, brown sugar, grated Asian pear, sesame oil, garlic, ginger, and black pepper in a large bowl.

Add the thinly sliced ribeye to the bowl and toss thoroughly to ensure every piece of meat is coated.

Cover the bowl and let the beef marinate in the refrigerator for at least 1 hour, or up to 4 hours for best flavor.

Heat a large skillet or cast-iron pan over high heat until it is smoking slightly.

Add a small amount of oil to the pan and spread the beef out in a single layer, working in batches if necessary.

Sear the meat quickly for 2-3 minutes until browned and slightly caramelized on the edges.

Toss in the chopped green onions during the last 30 seconds of cooking.
