Ingredients

  • 3 whole Ripe Hass avocados
  • 0.5 cup White onion
  • 0.5 cup Fresh cilantro
  • 1 whole Roma tomato(optional)
  • 1 whole Jalapeño pepper
  • 2 tablespoons Fresh lime juice
  • 0.5 teaspoon Kosher salt
  • 1 clove Garlic
  • 1 pinch Ground cumin(optional)

Instructions

    Finely dice the white onion, jalapeño, and cilantro leaves.

    Mince the garlic clove into a fine paste using a knife or a mortar and pestle.

    Cut the avocados in half, remove the pits, and scoop the flesh into a large mixing bowl.

    Add the lime juice immediately to the avocado to prevent browning.

    Use a fork or potato masher to crush the avocados until they reach your desired consistency, leaving some small chunks for texture.

    Fold in the diced onion, cilantro, jalapeño, and garlic paste.

    If using tomato, core and dice it before gently stirring it into the mixture.

    Season with salt and cumin, then taste and adjust lime or salt as needed before serving.
