  • 2 pieces Chicken breast, halved horizontally
  • 0.25 cup All-purpose flour
  • 2 tablespoons Unsalted butter
  • 3 tablespoons Lemon juice, freshly squeezed
  • 2 tablespoons Capers, drained
  • 0.5 cup Chicken broth
  • 1 tablespoon Fresh parsley, chopped(optional)

Instructions

    Dredge the chicken pieces in flour seasoned with salt and pepper, shaking off any excess.

    Heat one tablespoon of butter in a large skillet over medium-high heat and sear the chicken for 3-4 minutes per side until golden and cooked through, then remove from the pan.

    In the same skillet, add the chicken broth, lemon juice, and capers, scraping up any browned bits from the bottom.

    Simmer the sauce for 3 minutes until slightly reduced, then whisk in the remaining tablespoon of butter.
