Ingredients

  • 1 large Cauliflower head
  • 3 tablespoons Low‑sodium soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon Fresh ginger, grated
  • 2 Garlic cloves, minced
  • 1 tablespoon Erythritol
  • 1 teaspoon Olive oil
  • to taste Black pepper(optional)

Instructions

  1. 1

Preheat the oven to 425°F (220°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.

  2. 2

Slice the cauliflower into 3 thick "steaks" about 1‑inch thick; you may get 2 full steaks and 1 smaller piece from the remaining florets.

  3. 3

In a small bowl whisk together soy sauce, grated ginger, minced garlic, erythritol, olive oil, and black pepper to form the Char Siu glaze.

  4. 4

Brush both sides of each cauliflower steak generously with the glaze, reserving any leftover glaze for later.

  5. 5

Place the steaks on the prepared baking sheet and roast for 12 minutes.

  6. 6

Flip the steaks, brush again with the remaining glaze, and continue roasting for another 10 minutes, or until the edges are caramelized and the cauliflower is tender.

  7. 7

Remove from the oven, let rest 2 minutes, then serve hot.
