Ingredients

  • 500 g ground turkey
  • 2 large eggs
  • 3 garlic
  • 1 onion powder
  • 1 dried oregano
  • 0.75 salt
  • 0.5 black pepper
  • 1 olive oil
  • 2 crushed tomatoes (no added sugar)
  • 1 tomato paste
  • 1 spinach
  • 1 basil (dried or fresh)

    Preheat oven to 400°F (205°C). Line a sheet pan.

    In a bowl, mix ground turkey, eggs, minced garlic, onion powder, oregano, salt, and pepper until just combined.

    Form 10–12 meatballs. Bake 15–18 minutes until browned and cooked through.

    Meanwhile, simmer crushed tomatoes and tomato paste with basil for 12–15 minutes until thickened. Season to taste.

    Add baked meatballs to sauce and simmer 5 minutes to absorb flavors.

    Fold spinach into the sauce and cook 1–2 minutes until wilted.

    Serve hot straight from the skillet.
